- In the 1900s, male fighters with a sculpted torso and piercing eyes were considered attractive. Bodybuilders enjoyed increased attention from the opposite sex.
- 1940 - the era of war left its mark on the standard of male attractiveness. Now clean-shaven men with stern looks, dressed in military uniforms, are held in high esteem.
- 1960 – Freedom of expression began to be valued. Some men aspired to be like Alain Delon, others imitated the hippie image.
- In 1980, after the release of the TV series Baywatch, the standard of male beauty was adjusted again. Now sexy athletes with a characteristic bronze tan are in fashion.
- In the 2000s, many men were inspired by the sexy image of David Beckham. Now, in addition to an elastic body, a well-groomed hairstyle and the ability to dress stylishly have become valued.
- Nowadays, the image of a sort of rebel is becoming popular - men began to grow their hair and beard, trying to resemble a “brutal lumberjack.”
