Bun with bangs

Bangs exclude a disheveled version of a wedding hairstyle, since the strands along the face should not hang down, otherwise it will not turn out very neatly.

There are simple rules for combining a bun with the style and material of the dress, they are presented below.

If the dress has an open back, then a high bun would be the best choice for a wedding. Your silhouette will be very graceful and elegant, and your image will be complete.
It will look advantageous if some elements of the dress are also found in the hairstyle. It could be stones, lace or feathers.
To look better, remember that the larger the dress size, the more attention you need to pay to the volume of the bun. If the dress size is small, you can do without the extra volume.
A dress with a strict cut and shiny fabric is best complemented with a simple and sleek bun. If the dress is of an unusual cut or has a lot of decorations, then it is better to make the hairstyle match the dress: complex and elegant.
Do the opposite with accessories: jewelry will be very useful for a simple dress, but for a complex dress it is better to get by with a minimum of jewelry and accessories.
Again, the more voluminous the skirt, the more voluminous the hairstyle should be. Otherwise, the head will look small compared to the dress.

To create a bun, a special elastic band is often used; it is also called a donut or donut. And then follow the following instructions step by step:

Comb your hair thoroughly before styling. A boar bristle brush will help smooth your hair and make it softer and more manageable.
If you want your hair to be smooth, apply a little wax or softening oil to your hair.
Make a high ponytail with a regular elastic band and tie it in a way that is convenient for you.
Then place an elastic band around your ponytail for a bun.

Then, starting from a certain place, tuck the hair under the elastic. Move in a circle until all the hair is hidden.
Secure your hair at the base for strength with bobby pins or bobby pins.

We comb our hair thoroughly so that it does not get tangled, and divide it into 2 parts.
As a rule, the hair is divided in the middle. Especially if you have straight bangs or no bangs.
My model wears side-swept bangs and parted her hair to the side.
Therefore, we had to divide the hair unevenly: the side parting at the beginning smoothly turns into an even parting.
Part of the hair needs to be pinned with a crocodile clip so that it doesn’t interfere, but we need the other half now.
We separate three small strands along the edge of the hair and begin to carefully braid them into a braid.
We remember that the braid should be airy.
Therefore, the strands need to be placed under the weave, and not on it, as is done in our usual version.
Thus, we get a braid in reverse, or inverted.
Next, from the parting line on one side and from the edge of the hair on the other, we begin to gradually separate small strands and weave them into a braid.
This weaving method is called French.
When we reach the back of the head and all the hair is already woven into a braid, we stop.
Now we need to give our braid some airiness.
To do this, holding its base with your fingertips, we carefully begin to pull out small strands of hair.
This way we give the braiding a loose effect, as if the braid is poorly tied.
But don't overdo it so it doesn't all fall apart.
We braid the braid to the end and gradually extend small “waves” along the entire length.
We braided a small section of the braid, pulled out a few strands, and so on.
We fix the end of the hair with a small invisible elastic band.
Please note that if you braid the braid completely and then start creating an airy effect, the tight braiding may not allow you to make neat, even roundness, and you will ruin the entire design.
Therefore, you need to pull out the strands gradually.
We work in the same way with the second part of the hair: we separate the first three strands, carefully braid them in French, add airiness and secure with an elastic band.
To keep your hairstyle well, I recommend applying mousse to your hair at the beginning of work or spraying your braids with hairspray at each stage.
Let's move on to forming an air beam.
First, use hairpins to attach one braid to the base of the head.
We try to wrap it beautifully around the back of the head in the shape of a figure eight or a snail to make a fluffy “flower”.
We carefully hide the ends of the braids under the bun.
We fasten the second braid in the same way, smoothly wrapping it around the first.
We straighten the airy “petals” of the braids and tightly fix the entire structure with the remaining hairpins, trying to give the hairstyle an elegant wave-like outline.
The hairstyle will look even more attractive if you add modern jewelry to it.
