How to make a children's cake from juice for kindergarten or birthday? DIY baby juice and Barney cake: master class

It’s your child’s birthday, but you don’t know what to bring to kindergarten to treat the kids? Make a beautiful cake from juices and sweets! The kids will be delighted!

  • What's a holiday without a cake, especially if it's a child's birthday! But the difficulty for parents is that babies should receive only natural, hypoallergenic, healthy, easily digestible and moderately fatty foods. Unfortunately, only a small number of confectionery products have similar properties.
  • This is why parents will never be allowed to bring cream cake, ice cream, or other children’s favorite but not very healthy treats to kindergarten.
  • There are two options left - treat the name day with apples and biscuits, or make an original cake from juice, biscuits - Barney bears and other children's sweets

Probably not a single child will refuse to drink juice from a small pack with a straw. A kindergarten group or little guests invited to a name day will be incredibly happy with this treat. Therefore, the simplest idea for making an unusual cake would be to use packaged juices. Mom and Dad who are making the cake need to consider a few things:

  1. The juice must be fresh and of high quality. It is better to choose a brand of baby food that contains a minimum of sugar and preservatives. Be sure to look at the date of manufacture of the drink
  2. It is better to choose juice from the least allergenic fruits and berries. If there are allergy sufferers in the children's group, a delicious “multi-fruit” or “citrus cocktail” can cause an unexpected unpleasant reaction in them. It is better to buy the simplest apple juices, they are suitable for almost all children
  3. The number of cookies should correspond to the number of children. It’s easy to predict the reaction of one of the kids if he doesn’t get a treat. It’s better to use a couple of extra juices in making the cake.

IMPORTANT: To be on the safe side, you can ask the kindergarten teacher what juices and other sweets can be brought to the group for children to treat

At a children's party, kids will want not only to drink, but also to eat something tasty. You can complement the juice cake with something that all children love, for example, Barney biscuits. In a convenient portioned package, they are ideal for an original cake. Of course, they also need to be taken for all children in the group.

Unusual juice cake.

Making a Barney cake from juices and biscuits for children is an opportunity for adults to show their imagination. They can also involve a child in the creative process, unless, of course, the finished product should come as a surprise to him.

A short master class will tell parents where they should start.

  • First of all, you need to think about what will be used for the cake. In order for it to be beautiful and for the children to eat, you need to make it from at least 2-3 components (for example, juices, “Barney” and lollipops)
  • Next, you should buy sweets. They will be cheaper in bulk. Juice - in packages, "Barney" - in boxes, etc.

It is better to take a whole box of juices for the cake at once.

And Barney's biscuits come in boxes like these.

  • At the next stage, everything necessary to create a cake frame is prepared: cardboard, colored and corrugated paper, foil, glue, scissors, stapler, ribbons, beads for decoration, polyethylene wrapping, etc.
  • The first tier of the cake will be made from juices, since they are the heaviest. If there are a lot of packs, they may take up two tiers. They need to be placed in a circle to measure what the diameter of the cardboard base will be

Stand for the first tier of the cake.

  • A corresponding circle is cut out of cardboard. Its decoration is done at your discretion
  • Juices are placed along the edge of the finished circle. The diameter of the next tier is measured. A new circle is cut out for it - a “lid” and a leg, these elements of the stand are also decorated

If there are a lot of juices, they can be placed in two tiers.

  • All subsequent tiers of the cake are made according to this scheme.

Ready and decorated base for the cake.

  • The treats are placed on the cake frame and decorated, for example, tied with ribbons or bows. They are needed, firstly, so that the product does not fall apart, and secondly, for beauty.
  • You can also use double-sided tape for this purpose. But it doesn't look so aesthetically pleasing. In addition, it will be inconvenient for children to take apart the treats glued to them.

The juices on the cake need to be well secured so that the structure does not fall apart during presentation.
The cake is being packed

The finished and packaged cake may look something like this.

IMPORTANT: To prevent juices, biscuits and candies from falling from the stand, you can glue sides to each of the tiers of the cake

If the design of juice and sweets packaging has something in common, the cake for kindergarten will turn out stylish.

You can treat your friends to this cake at the playground.

And this is a treat for little princesses.

It’s not a shame to bring such tasty treats to kindergarten.

Why not decorate a cake made of juices and sweets with figurines?

Simplified design

We present a cake made from Barney and juices, which is also easy to make with your own hands. Carefully read the advice given in the master class.

We recommend: DIY gift cake made from diapers for a girl and a boy: step-by-step master classes for beginners

Stock up on cardboard, scissors, glue, tape, and colored paper. Don't forget decorative ribbon, a toy mouse, or a metal tray.

  1. Place juice packs around the circumference of the tray, placing some of them inside the circle. Secure with tape.
  2. Cover the packages with a cardboard circle of suitable diameter. Attach a cylinder in the center of the circle, equal in height to a Barney biscuit placed vertically.
  3. Carefully cover the cylinder connected to the circle with colored paper on all sides. Cover the circumference of the cylinder on all sides with vertically standing biscuits and secure them with a piece of cling film. Place the block of biscuits on top of the juice boxes. On top of the cling film, tie the array of juices and biscuits with wide bright ribbons of different colors with lush bows.
  4. Attach a small Minnie figurine at the very top. You can place a candle in the form of a number nearby.

The master class draws your attention to the fact that this cake is much easier to make.

You can make an even simpler decorative cake according to MK, designed for 7 people. Based on this amount, purchase juice, chocolates, lollipops, and loose candies. Useful materials include glue, corrugated paper, cling film, wide decorative tape, and a plastic skewer.

The master class pays special attention to the safety of your products. Small plastic parts, if they are included in the cake, must be kept under special control by adults. Let's make a cake with our own hands:

  1. Place a circle of juice boxes on the table. Measure the largest distance between the outer edges of the packages. It will be the diameter of a large circle.
  2. Now measure the same distance between their inner edges. This is the diameter of the small circle. Cut out these circles.

Place a juice box, place a chocolate bar on it and measure their total length. Make a piece of tube from thick cardboard. Its diameter is equal to the diameter of the small circle. The length of the tube is equal to the total length of the juice box and chocolate bar.

  1. Secure the tube vertically in the center of a large circle. The resulting design resembles a hat - a cylinder. Cover it and the small circle with corrugated paper.
  2. Arrange the juice packs in a circle on the brim of our cylinder. Secure them together with cling film. Tie a wide ribbon on top to hide the film. Insert lollipops and chocolate bars between juice boxes.
  3. Cover the top of the tube with a small circle. Glue loose candies onto it using small pieces of tape.

We recommend: DIY cake made from cans of “Beer”

Cut out the desired number from cardboard and also cover it with corrugated paper. Glue the number to the skewer and stick it between the candies into the cardboard. The result was an unusual and very cute handmade cake. Our MK wishes you a happy birthday!

Juice cake base

As mentioned above, the base for the cake can be made from cardboard. Round or square boxes for candies and other sweets are also suitable for it.

Cardboard base for the cake.

The main thing is that the base is strong, the original design with sweets does not crumble in your hands during transportation and presentation. During its manufacture, it is recommended to use a glue gun, tape, a stapler with strong staples, etc.

Base for a boxed cake.

The appearance of the base should be aesthetic. During the presentation of the cake, it will be hidden by juices, chocolates, and other children's treats. But when children snatch them up, the cake can turn into something ridiculous, and the overall impression of the treat can deteriorate.

Making the task more difficult

Barney and juice cakes for kindergarten are an ideal option for celebrating your little one’s birthday. Activate your imagination and get creative. You will see how a couple of creative ideas will come to you, and a cake made from Barney and juice with your own hands will turn into a real masterpiece.

Advice! The design must be stable, but do not forget that children will drink juice and eat candy, so do not overdo it with adhesives.

As a base for the cake, you can use polystyrene foam, polyurethane foam, or boxes of candy and cookies. Hexagonal packaging looks original. You can decorate the base with foil. The mirror base will look beautiful and fabulous.

Required materials and tools:

  • thick cardboard;
  • colored wrapping paper;
  • scissors;
  • scotch;
  • hexagonal cardboard box;
  • packaged juices with a nominal volume of 0.2 l;
  • Barney candy;
  • chocolate eggs;
  • decorative ribbons and bows.

On a note! This technique will strengthen the structure and provide additional support for the packages that are placed along the edge.

Step by step description:

  1. We start by preparing the base. To make it stronger, you can use cardboard folded in two or three layers.
  2. We cut out circles of the required diameter and cover them with colored packaging paper.

  3. We place the first base of our cake on the table and begin to place the juice bags.
  4. First, we position them along the edge tightly to each other.

  5. We secure the juice bags with transparent tape.

  6. We need to put the remaining juice packets in the middle. We stack them, like a construction set, tightly to each other.

  7. We cut out a circle from cardboard with which we will close the juice bags placed inside.
  8. First you need to measure the diameter of our first layer of cake.
  9. We put the cardboard inside; it doesn’t need to be decorated.

  10. So that there is no emptiness inside, we will lay out chocolate eggs.
  11. You can’t press them down, keep this in mind.

  12. Let's measure the diameter of the first tier.
  13. Cut out a circle of the appropriate size from thick cardboard.
  14. We decorate the cardboard base with wrapping paper and use double-sided adhesive tape to secure it on top.

  15. Next we need a hexagonal shaped cardboard box.

  16. We put Barney candies into it and place it on top of the second tier on the cake.

  17. We fix the second tier using transparent tape or double-sided adhesive tape.
  18. Place another layer of candies around the cardboard base.
  19. Carefully secure the Barney candies with a satin ribbon.

  20. We still have one more piece of the hexagonal cardboard box left. Using tape we secure it with the third tier. Place chocolate eggs inside.

  21. Decorate the cake with flowers and ribbons. If desired, you can put a number on top made from napkins or a tourniquet.

The principle of designing such cakes is almost identical. It is better to choose rectangular-shaped candies. You can take chocolate bars, lollipops, for example, lollipops. Juice bags with straws can be decorated with ribbons, photo cards or corrugated paper if desired. It all depends on the height of your imagination and creative skills.

    Children's gift with lollipops

    The discussed version of the children's cake with the addition of lollipops turns out to be very impressive.

    For him we take:

    • packaged juices (200 ml), Barney cakes, sweets on sticks - all according to the number of children;
    • double-sided adhesive tape (scotch tape);
    • cardboard;
    • decorative paper;
    • bright ribbons.

    Actions:

    1. A circle-base for the future cake is created from a large piece of cardboard.
    2. Juices are placed on top of it and secured with double-sided tape. You can place them in several layers one after another. The main thing is to leave a small hole in the middle.
    3. The remaining cardboard is rolled into a cylinder. Its diameter should fit the hole in the center of the base with drinks. The resulting cardboard blank is also covered with decorative paper. The height of the cylinder should be equal to the entire size of the cake.
    4. The workpiece is inserted into the hole among the juices.
    5. Two more circles of different sizes are cut out of cardboard - larger and smaller. In the middle of the first, a hole is made along the diameter of the cylinder. The larger one is immediately put on top of the structure and placed on top of the juice packs.
    6. On an established circle around the cylinder, “Barneys” are placed in 1-2 layers. They are also secured with double-sided tape.
    7. The brownie packages have a smaller circle without a hole. It needs to be pierced with lollipop sticks so that only the candies themselves in bright packages remain on top outside.

    Cake made from juice and cookies. Juice and cake cake

    Cookies are also suitable for treating children in kindergarten or at a birthday party if they:

    • biscuits or sugar
    • without preservatives and other chemicals
    • fresh

    It is advisable that it be in individual packaging, separate for each child present at the holiday.

    Juices and Barney cookies in the form of a cake for children in kindergarten.

    But it is better not to use cakes made from juices, since children cannot have fatty buttercream, white cream made from raw eggs, or boiled condensed milk in large quantities. Yummy food with curd cream or yogurt filling cannot be stored for a long time; it is very difficult to control its freshness.

    Useful tips

    When working with cardboard and foam plastic, you often have to glue something together. This can be done quickly using adhesive tape, but you need to use not ordinary stationery tape, from which everything will quickly fall off, but painter’s tape. You can buy it at a hardware store.

    To prevent juices and sweets from moving off the tiers, they can be secured with small pieces of double-sided tape, and then tied with a satin ribbon.

    As a decoration, you can use flowers made from paper and candies, satin ribbons, and if none of the techniques for making flowers from candy is not familiar to a beginner cake maker, then you can buy beautiful artificial flowers at a florist store.

    And most importantly, so that all the work does not go down the drain, you must first agree on a list of sweets that can be brought to kindergarten.

    Cake made from juice and soap bubbles

    Children are always pleased if they get some kind of souvenir after the holiday. These can be soap bubbles in bright bottles used to decorate an unusual cake.

    Product selection

    This is a very important and responsible moment. When choosing sweets you need to consider several points.

      First, talk to the teachers and find out what products can be brought to kindergarten , and whether any of the children have allergies.

    For example, if chocolate is contraindicated for a child, then you should prepare marshmallows or other permitted sweets for him and warn the teacher to make sure that this particular child receives his treat.

    • Expiration dates for juices and sweets . Sometimes, when buying a large number of identical products, we may not keep track of the freshness of certain products, but this should not happen in this case, because... we choose products for children.
    • It is better to choose those companies that specialize in baby food . Only natural products should be added to cookies and cakes.
    • It is very important that there are enough sweets and drinks for everyone . It will be a shame if any child is left without a treat, so it is better to buy a few extra juices and cakes. You can find out the number of children attending the group from the teacher.
